Take 5 VA was born in 2005, from years of Arika’s yearning, to create a stream of income while staying home with her 2 children. She envisioned a service based business that helps other work at home mom and dad business owners, who just can not seem to get ahead due to the time consuming tasks that come with running your own business.

As a mother who at one time worked outside the home, Arika understands the feelings that come with missing out on the important moments in her children’s lives. That is why she makes it her mission to help other work at home moms and dads achieve their dream of being home and spending time with their children while creating an income at the same time.
Expected to receive her Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Management with a concentration in Accounting in 2008, Arika has over 10 years of various office administration experience including customer service, bookkeeping, small business start up, payroll, and tax preparation.
Arika prides herself on the fact that she is a quick study and willing to take on new tasks with enthusiasm. She is a firm believer that without her clients, she would not be where she is today, and therefore puts her client’s needs first. She takes the time to get to know her clients and works quickly and professionally to give them what they need.
